Android operating system allows users to use their device in the language of their choice. The system language, however, applies to the entire user interface including Settings, apps and services. What if? You do not want to change the language of the entire system and just some apps in another language.
Thankfully, Android also allows users to choose the language app-wise. This means you can choose to see one app in English and another app in Hindi or any other available language.
Things you should know about changing the app’s language
The app-wise language feature is a part of Android 13 operating system. But it is also important that the app supports the language change feature. Otherwise, it won’t work.
In case you are running an older Android operating system right now, you can also head to the app and check if it has a native app language option.
How to change app language from Android settings
On Samsung devices
- Open Setting on your smartphone
- Scroll Down to General Management and tap on App language
- Choose the app and then choose the desired language
On Pixel smartphones
- Head to Settings → System and tap on Language and Input
- Tap on App languages
- Choose the app and then the language you want for the app
Now, do note that other smartphones will also offer the App language option under the setting. However, it will only be available after the Android 13 rollout.
