Vivo’s foldable smartphone has been making headlines for a while now. Several leaks and rumours have already given us an insight into what to expect from the upcoming foldable smartphone. The Vivo foldable smartphone was earlier expected to launch with the name — Vivo X Fold S. However, according to the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the handset could arrive as Vivo X Fold Plus.
Digital Chat Station has dropped this information via the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. In the post, the tipster has revealed the new name for the smartphone along with a couple of other details.
According to the report, the Vivo X Fold Plus is likely to feature the same specification earlier revealed by him. A Vivo foldable smartphone with the same name has already been spotted on the China 3C certification site and Geekbench listing.
As far as features are concerned, the handset is speculated to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Apart from that, the tipster has revealed that the smartphone will feature a 2K LPTO display. The handset is also expected to offer a flagship-grade camera setup. As per some previous leaks, the smartphone is expected to come with a 50MP triple rear camera setup which includes a 12MP portrait lens and an 8MP telephoto lens. There will be a 16MP selfie shooter.
The handset is expected to be backed by a 4700mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.
